An alternative Christmas...

The Victorians believed in no more than 4 presents per child..... with the adage: Something they want, something they need, something to play with and something to read
How much easier would our Christmas be? how much less debt people would get in? How less capricious and spoilt our generation of youngsters would be....
Give it some thought and think on the true meaning of Christmas giving, the selfless act of love, to please with no reward other than the joy of giving...
Ponder it when you stress out in the queues this Christmastide.

Methinks 4 pressies is too many! Yes, the camera only takes video without sound. Forgot to mention it!

The victorian christmas exchange is close to what we tell the children when they reach the age of understanding (different for every child )

Jesus as a baby only recieved three gifts. How many gifts should you recieve?

Starts a conversation and discussion about the Lord himself!
