In Holland safely...

A moment's panic as Tom realised that the train was leaving earlier than he thought made for a rushed departure, getting the children up and into the bus ready! 1040pm and we were off in a suprisingly empty feeling bus..... (Do you ever get that feeling that you have forgotten something major? haven't worked out what yet!)
A very good run saw us at the tunnel in plenty of time.... however the journey on the other side of the channel wasn't so straightforward! A supposedly 3½hr journey (so say michelin.com) took us near on 6hrs with Jon (Tom's brother) and Janneke welcoming us at 1030 for a rather late breakfast!!!! Tiredness, hunger, and difficult to follow directions, rest stops and getting completely lost 200 yds from our destination didn't help!!!
Anyway we've made it and how lovely for the cousins to play together in the garden when the sun made an appearance. Oma and Opa (Janneke's parents) came to say hi, we last saw them when I was heavily pregnant with Isaac!!
A day together tomorrow and then the journey continues as we set off down to find my parents in the Ardèche at bedtime.....
See you then!
